Ocon could become Haas` new driver in 2025.
The future of the Alpin drivers remains unclear: the contracts of Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly expire at the end of the year, while the team`s form does not inspire optimism among their teammates.


According to the French version of Motorsport, Ocon`s most likely employer in 2025 is Haas.


Esteban, like some other drivers, is awaiting the decision of Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz on the Sauber (from the 2026 season - Audi). The Frenchman is not going to delay his choice and intends to sign a contract with one of the teams as soon as possible. His options are limited, especially if Sainz agrees to move to the Swiss team.


Williams is one option for Ocon, but boss James Vowles favors Sauber`s Valtteri Bottas as a more team player. Vowles worked with both drivers in the Mercedes system.


According to the publication, Esteban is close to moving to Haas - presumably to replace Kevin Magnussen. Ocon`s partner should be Ferrari junior Oliver Berman.


The situation remains more difficult for Gasly, who has even fewer options than his team-mate. Most likely, Pierre will continue to play for Alpin.


Previously, the press had named Sauber driver Zhou Guanyu as the leader in the race for a seat at Haas.
