Designer Adrian Newey has not ruled out working for another team after leaving Red Bull in 2025.


If you had asked me 15 years ago if, at 65, I would seriously consider changing teams and working for another four or five seasons, I would have called it complete madness.


I`ve wanted to be a motorsport designer since I was eight or ten years old. I was lucky enough to realize those ambitions, get my first job and stay involved in motorsport ever since. Every day is just a bonus. I just love what I do.


I will have some kind of vacation. As Forrest Gump said at the end of his long run, I`m a little tired. But at some point I`ll probably run again, " the Briton said in an interview with Oyster Yachts.


Newey did not expect that the news of leaving Red Bull would become so discussed:


I didn`t realize it would be such a big deal, to be honest. I never really thought about it. I was almost shocked that it was in all the newspapers and on TV.
