Seattle forward Shane Wright was traded to OHL club Windsor.


In exchange for the 19-year-old forward, Windsor gave forward Ethan Miedema and defenseman Gavin McCarthy, as well as seven draft picks: second pick 2023, third pick 2023, fourth picks 2024 and 2025, conditional fifth pick 2024 and conditional sixth picks-2024 and 2025.


Also, Kingston, for whom Wright played in the OHL, gave away the conditional fourteenth pick in 2025.


In the 2022/23 regular season, Wright played 8 matches and scored 2 (1+1) points. He also has 4 goals in 5 games in the AHL.
