Newcastle achieved a second consecutive win in the Premier League after a week ago could not boast of any one. This time the `Sharks` beat 2:1 over Bournemouth at St James` Park. Jose Salomon Rondon (7 `39 `) made his first two goals for the `Swarovski`, and Jefferson Leon (45 `) equalized in the added time of the first part. After the break, Rafael Benitez`s selection managed to keep his lead.

Fabian Cher, Ki and Ayose Peres started as Newcastle. Junior Stanislas replaced Jordan Eib as the `cherries`.




In the seventh minute, the `Sharks` led to the result. Rondon saw Jedlin`s low center but Begovic screamed his first shot. The Venezuelan, however, did not go wrong with the addition, putting his first goal at Newcastle on St. James`s Park. Five minutes before the break, Rondon doubled his goal. This time he knocked Kennedy`s center-center and sent the ball unspoilt to the top corner of the guests door. In the added time Begovic saved his team twice. Bournemouth`s first keeper refused Perez and then intervened after Wilson turned to Ki`s own door.

In the sixth minute of the added time of the first part, which was eight minutes, Lerma reduced the score, shooting just after the rescue of the Dubravka. The unpleasant news for the guests, apart from the result, was Adam Smith`s severe injury, which was the reason for the great sequel.


During the second half Bournemouth sought a leveling. In the 60th minute Fraser shoots 25 meters, the ball ricochets at Wilson, but Dubravka rescues. Shortly after, Wilson shot his head over the beam. In the 73rd minute, Aib got in a very convenient position from Gosling, but he shot it over the goal.

Nine minutes before the end, Begovic deprived Newcastle of a third goal after a hit by Atsu, who ricocheted in Ake.


In the 86th Gosling he sent the ball into the door of Dubravka, but the shot was properly canceled because of an ambush. At the very end Begovic deprived Rondon of a hattrick.
