Ecuador national football player Marco Angulo died after a traffic accident. The midfielder died at the age of 22 due to injuries received in a road accident.
The accident occurred on October 7 in the city of Quito.
Marco Angulo represented Ecuadorian Independiente and Quito, as well as Cincinnati.
In the 2022/23 season, Angulo, together with Cincinnati, became the winner of the MLS regular season. Together with Independiente, he won the Sudamericana Cup in the 2021/22 season.
